Welcome to Abacus SlideRules
SlideRules allows customers on the current version of AbacusLaw to
quickly and conveniently install and update all of their rules
using an internet connection.
Getting Started
Running SlideRules is easy, it is included when you install AbacusLaw
and can be found in the AbacusLaw pogram group when you open it
from the windows Start menu.
To run SlideRules
- Make sure that a current version of AbacusLaw is installed and
registered.
- Verify that everyone in the office has closed AbacusLaw and remains
out while you run SlideRules.
- Click SlideRules in the AbacusLaw program group opened from the Windows Start menu.

What are rules?
Rules are prewritten legal calendaring templates
that configure your legal calendar based on changes to the code
and ensure you never miss a deadline. With rules preconfigured
for multiple practice areas, State, Federal and California fast
track Jurisdictions there is a rules set pre-configured to streamline
and safeguard your practice.
