Support Tip - Keeping To-Dos Alive

To-Dos (Events that have TO-DO in the time field) if not marked done, will roll forward to the current date. That way if something is not done, it will stick on today's calendar until it is completed.

Sometimes, usually due to a bad index, TO-DOs can be left in the past. Since the program never looks back past the last time it rolled TO-DOs, they may get stranded in the past. If this ever happens you can go to File/Setup/System Options and uncheck the option labeled 'Update TO-DOs on Startup'. Click the OK button. Then go right back to File/Setup/System Options and recheck the 'Update TO-DOs on Startup'. When you do this it will force Abacus to Search the entire database for any stranded TO-DOs. Sometimes it may run across very old TO-DOs and ask if you want to update them. You must click Yes, otherwise the updating process will abort.
