7. Data
Conversion Services
Currently,
we are able to automatically convert data from many of the other "legal"
packages. Each application varies and strict instructions for data preparation
must be followed. Due to the complexity of the conversion, we offer this
as a service and not on a do-it-yourself basis. Just let us know what
you currently have and we'll walk you through what needs to be done so
we can help.
Most applications
have the ability to export clients, balances, timekeepers, tasks and time-ticket
information to ASCII delimited files. The conversion of data will vary
depending on your program's ability to export information. In some cases
we may need to create conversion scripts to assist in quickly moving your
data over to the Abacus format. Depending upon the application, conversion
of data may be limited.
