When importing Names from another source, Abacus wants
to place the phone numbers into (  ). Occasionally a
program will export the numbers out with these included in
which you will need to remove these from the imported file
for the information to be imported correctly. Another fix
(if you have user-defined fields and screens) is to remove
the picture from those fields that you import into. Go to
File / Setup / User Preferences and click on Names to select
a screen then click edit. Right click on the phone field and
delete everything that appears in the Picture field.
