Synch your PDA with AbacusLaw

AbacusLaw allows you to synchronize your calendar and contacts to your PDA so you never have to be without your important data again. AbacusLaw also lets you synchronize as many PDA's as you have licensed users, meaning everyone can take their data with them.

Synchronizing your AbacusLaw data to your PDA is as simple as pushing a button

Install the Companion Link software provided and configure the options that suit you. Then, each time you want to synch your PDA, simply hit the synch button. It's that easy! You can also set a scheduled task in Windows so it's automatic to make it even easier!  Your AbacusLaw data is converted to the PDA format, so appointments and contacts show up just as they would if you were to enter them on the device itself. Companion Link also supports Exchange server with Abacus.

Compatible PDA devices:

AbacusLaw is compatible with the Palm OS, Pocket PC, Outlook, Windows CE 2.0, 2.1 and 3.0, and Windows Mobile. These include most varieties of PDA's available.

AbacusLaw also supports synchronization with Blackberry, operating system requirements: BlackBerry Desktop Manager versions 4.1 up to version 5.  For Blackberry's that use a newer version of the Desktop Manager, you may have to synch through Outlook.

With the Companion Link program, there are a number of different synch methods for Abacus customers.

Outlook

Abacus can synch to all versions of Microsoft Outlook. This includes versions we do not support through our Outlook link with the Abacus program. With the Outlook synch, you can synch to either a local PST folder or an Exchange OST folder. With the current version of AbacusLaw, you can also synch to your personal Outlook Exchange file on your network server.

Palm PDA

This is the direct synch between Abacus and a Palm PDA. We currently support up to Palm Desktop Version 6.

Palm Desktop

As with the Palm PDA synch, use up to version 6 of the Palm Desktop.

Windows Mobile

For handhelds with up to Windows Mobile 6.x and users with the older Windows CE operating system on their handhelds, we synchronize to your device though Outlook on your PC. (The synch process is not designed for Outlook Express.)

Blackberry

Abacus can synch directly to units using BlackBerry Desktop Manager version 4.1 up to version 5. For Blackberry's that use a newer version of the Desktop Manager, you may have to synch through Outlook.

iPhone

Abacus will synchronize to your iPhone through iTunes (via Outlook).  It is a one button synch, but needs Outlook and iTunes to be installed.

Symbian OS's (such as the Google phone)

This operating system will also synch between itself and Outlook. Abacus then synchs through Outlook.
